Non-members are welcome to come along on our Family Shiny trips as an introduction to 4WDing and to the club. Your vehicle must have a low ratio gearbox and not be a 4WD car, station wagon or van. During winter, because of track conditions, the Trip Leader may require Mud tyres as a safety precaution.

Please contact the trip leader using the contact details recorded against the trip to book for the trip and to obtain details of start place, time etc.

Members of other 4WD clubs are welcome to join us on any trip so long as they can satisfy the trip leader that they have the vehicle and experience required for the grade of trip. Contact us via the “Contact Us” page of the website for further details of the trip.

Training days are held on a regular basis.  The cost of the day is $90.00 which includes a Land Access fee (paid to the landowner) a Day Membership fee (NZFWDA liability insurance) and a non refundable CCVC Joining Fee (prepaid if you go on to join and covering costs if you don't).
